I commissioned Jan to paint my parents-in-law's villa in Provence - they were selling it after almost 20 years of family memories, and we wanted those memories to continue. Working with Jan was really easy and collaborative, as she checked in with us at various stages of the process to give us the opportunity to make small changes, or provide other photos to ensure colours and details were reflected. Jan captured the house just beautifully in her final painting - truly a piece of art for the family to enjoy for many years to come

I cannot recommend Jan enough. She has created an amazing painting of my friend’s wedding venue for a gift. It has come together so beautifully and she kept me posted throughout the process, sharing the pencil drawing before she started painting and asking various questions around how I wanted it as she was in the process of painting it. She also made some changes we wanted to the picture and suggested lovely touches like making the time on the church the same time as the wedding ceremony. It has been a pleasure working with Jan and I can’t wait for my friend to see it

It was a pleasure working with Jan to create a special watercolour painting of my daughter’s wedding venue in Spain. Jan painted our holiday home for a Christmas gift for my parents. Thanks to her quick turn around time this is the most organised I have ever been with a Christmas present!! She was able to work off only a few photos, and added in some other details too which were not in the photos. She was quick to respond to any queries, and able to accomodate every request I had. I ordered two paintings from Jan, both portraits from different artists views of our wedding venue. From the first interaction, Jan was amazing with communication, inputting her wonderful ideas, keeping me constantly up to date with numerous pictures of how the paintings were coming along.

Jan has painted a beautiful picture of my parents house. She has captured the house and garden perfectly. The colours are lovely. Jan was so careful with the details and sent me regular updates. I was only able to send photos from late spring, before the leaves came out. Jan was able to add the new leaves and wisteria flowers. The painting looks better than the photos that I sent Jan.
