Once we had decided which season represented our house and garden the best Jan took many photos highlighting special features, flowers, shrubs and most important our beloved dog sitting in his favourite place amongst the daffodils. She also excluded the bits we didn't want!
A stickler for detail she visited the house again to get the correct colours in good light and always kept us informed. We are delighted to have a wonderful painting of all that we love about our garden and house...a treasure full of memories

Jan’s work is amazing and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
We moved into our new house just before Christmas. Despite already being fairly busy, Jan took on this commission as a Christmas gift for my wife. Working from a small number of photos she painted this amazing picture of our house, and made sure I received it in good time.
It now has pride of place on our wall. We love it, and everyone who has been to the house thinks it is both beautiful and an amazing likeness.
I would strongly recommend Jan to everyone.

I approached Jan about painting a picture of my childhood home as a Christmas gift for my parents. Jan responded promptly to all my emails and asked some great questions to make sure the painting was exactly what I wanted. She sent me updates as it was being created, I even got to specify the colours of the tiny plants in the hanging baskets and which ugly drain to leave out of the picture!
The completed painting was finished well within the time scale Jan had advised and was well packaged when it arrived.
My parents were thrilled with it (there were tears!) and it has pride of place in their new home.
I can't recommend Jan enough, the painting looked exactly like the picture I provided and will be treasured"

A group of friends and I commissioned Jan to sketch a building portrait as a gift. This request was made the week before Christmas and Jan delivered the project ahead of deadline. She remained in close communication throughout and was responsive to feedback.
The finished portrait was extremely impressive and the recipient of the gift and all my friends were thoroughly impressed with the work. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Jan.

Jan did a fantastic painting of my Mum’s childhood home .
There was only a couple of photos to work with and she was able to recreate it perfectly. She kept me informed at all stages so that I could then have the opportunity to change or add things which was great.
